Summer is around the corner

So in lieu of being finished my exams, I wanted to let you know, I won't be posting much in the next few days. Sorry!

I will be packing...my life away, literally.

I'll be spending ample time reading books I enjoy reading...

And endlessly snacking until I can return home to real food...

After all of this, and I have been moved back into my parents house (lame) I'll be looking for a job to spend my summer!

What are your plans for the summer?

A vlog!

I apologize about the quality of photos some of them slightly distorted themselves. This is my year in a nutshell. Loss, friendship, happiness and goodbyes. But it only gets better!

Chicken...and then fall Caesar?

Today, I completed my second exam...in 30 minutes. Holy crap on a cracker. But, I know I at least achieved myself a B-, which I'm okay with it. It doesn't stop there though my friends. I have another, but final, exam on Saturday, at 9 a.m. Clearly the definition of brutal. But, on the bright side, three hours later I can walk away Scott-free, and spend the weeks after biting the finger nails off myself waiting for marks.

Anyway, I hate to depress all of you with my horrible stress and exams. I spent the morning saying goodbye to close friend I've learned to love. She's about as crazy as I am, and I will miss her dearly here at St. Thomas.

Goodbye, Michaela!

She's the blonde beauty on the right! With our match perfect red lips.

But what would a blog post be without food?

For dinner, I had the most wonderful salad, something I have become very addicted to.

Creamy Caesar dressing is the best thing I have ever put to my lips. And not to mention combining it with chicken. Brilliant fucking idea. Then again, most of my ideas have fucking brilliance to them. Well...some. Others may be quite questionable.

Then after some hard side curdling laughter with two of the world's greatest people, I walked home. Slightly cold today, bundle up people of Fredericton, or at least a sweater.

I returned home, and supper was awaiting me. What a lovely thing, eh? Everyone should come home to supper. Not to domestic anyone. That's silly.

Lasagna, rice and meatballs! Yum.

Want some? Sorry, I ate it. I ate ALL of it. Sorry, guys that was rude.

After spending sometime with my face in a book (which I am now back to), I spent a couple of hours at the mall with my friends. Vanessa and Michaela. Since the day I write my last exam Vanessa will be returning home until next year. Which makes me very sad. We'll have a happy reunion next year.

I ate something not as healthy as would have been my intention. Taco Bell!

The day was wonderful, but I must bid you adieu as I have work to complete and another day of studying ahead of me.

A Great Day

I don't have any pictures to share with from this epic day. But, I can tell you about. I spent the day with a person you shall remain mysterious until a later date. But this person is the greatest person who has ever introduced themselves into my life.

I started the day by studying for my psychology exam. Which could go well or badly. But hey, most things do. We can only do our best and for right now that has to be good enough. Never set your expectations to a place that is TOO far beyond your reach. (I'm not saying don't shoot for the moon, but, recognize your limits and accept them! It's actually okay.)

After long hours of starting directly into a computer screen. Trust me, that is honestly the worst thing in the world. Your eyes get super heavy and sore. I pity anyone who has to do that on a regular basis, really, I sincerely do.

Afterwards, my friend and I headed for a quick late supper. Oh boy - my belly! Chinese food is quite excellent. Since we parted for so long, I think it was a great way to send ourselves back into a future that might be very rewarding.

Morally of today, never give up on your heart and how you feel. Chances are what you feel is exactly how it should be. Chances are that when you think all things are lost they're not. Even further then that, the mistakes you made in the mean time will disappear, and it will take time, as most things do; but they'll work out.

This whole situations makes me feel super positive about everything. I can only hope that all of you blog readers will some day feel the way I do right now. Because this feeling: very amazing.

New Glasses and Exams

So, I probably shouldn't be blogging considering you know I have an exam on Thursday and there is probably a million things I should be doing...but I'm not. Clearly I am not the person you should be modeling yourself after; at least not when it comes to schooling and work habits.

I mean common it's the end of my first year, I was bound to get lazy at some point. (This was probably the worst time that could happen.)

Anyway, today, I received my glasses from a very pretty delivery lady. I had my eyes tested recently and learned I needed glasses...and needed them soon. So, instead of paying the hefty price that eye care places charge. I ordered my glasses online and hoped that they would be here before I needed to write my exams. And alas they arrive a few hours before my largest of exams.

Sexy, I know. I'll be beating the ladies off with a stick. The glasses were warmly welcomed by apparent football shaped eyes. Hey, we all have a kind of uniqueness. Mine just happens to be oddly shaped eyes.

I wrote my first final university exam today...yikes. It was scary! I write my next Thursday and then the last one on Saturday which next to Aquinas will be my second hardest. So many definitions and they're so long. But, this is university, isn't wasn't meant to be easy, right?

I'm hoping that in the weeks to come my life will come together. The people in my life will be the right people and I can settle my mind into the place it needs to be. And be the farthest away from school, papers and work as it can be.

Boston Marathon

I would just like to make a post for the people effected by the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Sending my prayers for everyone effected, and to those who have suffered loss.

Go to the Red Cross to donate blood

If you have available space in Boston - to help a stranded bystander or runner.

If you have any information about the incident please call: 1-800-494-TIPS.

And, if you have food or are available to help in anyway - here.

P.S. I don't yet have a proper link for offering people a place to stay.

A long awaited post

In light of my academic year coming to an end I haven't not posted here. Sad, I know. As I prepared frantically for exams. (or chill around with my friends and talk about Pokemon) Either way I've been busy.

Those of you who have visited my page in my absence, I commend you. Mostly because my post are nothing too interesting.

I have change the style of my hair...yet again. Not the colour though. That is to come this summer.

I partied with some friends to mark the end of a unforgettable year. I made friends, learned some incredibly valuable lessons and overall experienced a sense of loss I will not soon forget. In all of these things I think I have gained a better purpose for myself within the world. Though that purpose had not yet been clearly defined, I'm sure in the years to come it will be.
I have spent many nights piling junk-food into my body because I had nothing else left to eat. And the conservation of money is necessary when you have a disease that requires large sums of money. You must make do with the things you have: namely pop-tarts.

I have spent all of my nights writing endless papers and preparing for exams. Three to go , starting tomorrow. I think I can do this, right? Nothing is more stressful then exams and deadlines for papers. Man, am I tired. Let's get my summer here.

Although the weather could be much better if you ask me. Outlooks for me is a summer job. I have a new cell phone that has a much larger bill then my prepaid one. However, I love my iPhone very dearly. The obstacle is whether I should stay in Fredericton.
