Then add the stinky stuff..like the beast I am!

What a fun-packed five days off! I get five days off from work, sometimes more since I don't work weekends, however, not all fun, means less pay. But I've done quite a bit in those days.

I had a delicious dinner at Pizza Delight with my Mom!

Filled with a bunch of good that left me full for the whole day.

And devoured like the beast that I am a fairly large lasagna!

Oh yeah, I had garlic fingers as a side and ate off my Mom's salad, I'm a bit of a pig. A pig.

I took my dog to the vet, not as pleasant as I thought it would be. After having surgery on a very swollen ear.  He had to return for a check up. He doesn't take well to being put in the back seat, nor being taken to the vet in the heat. He's a bit of a diva.

Tough life he has!

Then, I decided I didn't have enough shorts. I'm one of those people that literally avoid anything light and summery, I wear jeans all year around. But after seeing some short creativity on Instagram, I figured I would reach into my inner creativity and make my own. What a stinky process! Blah!

First you start my by cutting the pants to the length you want.

 Then add the stinky stuff.

Load on the stinky stuff; otherwise known as bleach, and wait for 30mins-1hour for the desired shade!

After it's done soaking in the bleach, proceed to put them in the washer to be washed, and then the dryer.

And you will get the perfect ombre short!

I'll wear these bad boys to work tomorrow as it's suppose to feel like 36 degrees!

I found many things in my life make me unhappy but sometimes you find things if not to make you happy, but to occupy your mind.

What do you do on your days off?

HOW ABOUT A CUTE ASS DOG?

I'm stuck between laziness and fitness. I want to get up and run, but Sex and The City season four looks so much better when you want to be more active. Or more healthy.

In spite of all the boring days ahead of me and subsequently behind me, I think I might have a touch of home sickness for my city  cabin fucking fever. And frankly, it might kill me.

Due to a lack of a license and a box with wheels, I surf the internet in hopes something entertaining might floats it way into my naturally uneventful thing I call a life.

On a more positive note, I've been working hard on that old fitness thing I mentioned earlier.

There is still a lot of work to be done. But, I'm getting there.

I've made excellent fashion choices as well. I know arrogance is the worst trait in anyone. But I am very proud of my accomplishments - well, fashion wise.

Well, they speak for themselves. A casual, at home, not doing anything outfit. And an out professional outfit, fit for perhaps a job interview Jesus who am I kidding?

I spend way too much time watching Sex and the City. It's so good, my love for Carrie Bradshaw is unspeakable.

That's my lady!

And for a final thought, how about a cute ass dog?

Lazy days of summer

Not having a job makes life a lot more boring. I literally do nothing all day. Nothing! It's nice, I will say that. However mu dog and I are starting to sleep the same hours. All day, every day!

I have though been taking short drives around town. Window down, t-shirt, and music blaring from the stereos.

And no fucks were given about how I look. As the title of my blog would suggest. Always wear a seat belt!

Evenings are spent with a glass of wine and a good book.

I still eat lovely home cooked meals. And actually, tomorrow as I head into to town to hunt for a job, I plan to buy the ingredients so I can back a cake from scratch! See my bucket list page.

I woke up Saturday and enjoyed some food made be me! Rare occurrence

Last night we had another favorite of mine. Seems I am being spoiled beyond reason.

It has been made evidently clear I have not made the transition into vegan-hood. Although I would like to, meat kind of taste good.

I hit my inner girl yesterday, which rarely ever happens. I blame it entirely on the boredom factor. Womp womp womp!

The rest of my boredom ridden day was spent with my parents, and my diva dog, Champ.

Until another day

Miss-cellaneous

As I sit listening to the "Game Of Thrones" theme son- never mind, I'll save my nerdiness for when get to know each other better.

Stressful week doesn't really describe it. I have only received one out of five marks; plus the mark on a research paper I was extremely disappointed it. I've contemplated that university is not the place for me. But who knows. I'll update you on this later on!

I have been enjoying my laid back time at home, for now.

I do however miss many things:

I miss my favorite Starbucks drinks - Ice Tea Lemonade - this I plan to find a recipe for, and a Caramel Frapaccino. God those are lovely to have at days end.

I really miss shoe shopping, these were my favorite shoe purchase of the year.

I also miss cuddling into the back part of the transit bus and reading a book - whether it be a school book or a personal read. Transit has it's problems but it was a good place to clear your head.
Hint: don't sit backwards on public transit, it leads near vomiting.

But I feel right now that I have no work or nothing to do I am enjoying home more then I normally would. Home cooked meals especially.

My first night home it was spaghetti, one of my favorite things my mother makes. Thanks Mom.

My second it was my all-time favorite food: salmon.

Mine and my Dad's idea of the perfect meal. The seasoning on this was absolutely perfect. Boneless, skinless salmon.

Although these are very healthy options, I often times dabble in junk food. (this is a really bad habit, I must add) There is always room - while you are sick - for some junk food.

Lastly, my most faithful companion, my dog, Champ! Who always welcomes me home with a lovely tail wagging and uber amounts of kisses.

Say hey, guys!

Showing off his inner queen. Love him.
