For example; I woke up recently, to discovered my nose piercing had completely grown over during the night. Fantastic! I realized that meant I was in for a painful visit to my local tattoo and piercing shop. To say the least, I do not wish to relive the horrifying popping experience I had, ever again.
However, my nose ring looks quite amazing.
Also, among other things I've done was update my iPhone. Though 2nd generation, my iPhone is old. I did upgrade to the newest version handed out by our friends at Apple.
It's a weird mix between Android and Apple. Faced with the problem of Android stocks rising they figured in order to maintain their customers base they better do an overhaul of their system. Which, I might add, has not been done, ever. I'm not the biggest fan of the new system. However; I'm warming up to it. Mostly because my iPhone is my first and only child and you will have to have blood running from your eyes before I'll ever switch.
I have since reconnected with some of my favorite places in the city. It's night to walk into the old coffee shops and be recognized as a "regular" whatever that term might entail. You can quietly sit with your favorite latte (currently, Pumpkin Spice from Starbucks!) and read the paper. And it's equivalent to a rocking Friday night. (for me, that is!)
After a long day of homework (I don't like to use that term mostly because I'm an adult in every other aspect of my life, and then bam, homework, I'm back in middle school) I like to sit down with some comfort food and of course a can (or two) of diet pepsi and watch one of my favorite shows.
A very concerning event happened upon my campus. A apparent gun-man showed up on my campus. Scary as it was, the situation was quickly resolved. And the investigation is on-going.
Here are some pictures; well, because I could. And I'm apparently more calm in the face of danger then I should be.
You often times will find comfort in the most wonderful of things. But surprisingly the things you never expect.
Like walks home at night.
Or raindrops on the roof of a car.
Or in taking silly pictures with someone you care about more then yourself.
I apologize for the lighting in these photos.
You can make your life as happy as you want to be. And I've learned that recently. That, in time, you will grow away from your childish ways, you will learn that not everything in this world will be bad, and in time, things will come together - because they're meant to be that way.
