About every two weeks, I have the dreaded thing called grocery day. (hint: I'm very money conscious and not in a good way/productive way)
Grocery day consist of me buying literally just basic food requirements. Or ones that sustain my diabetic diet. Yes, diabetic. That limits many things I can purchase and always makes it more expensive to buy things for myself.
Being a collage student, living in a hotel/dorm inspired apartment, I'm bound to the abilities of the microwave.
On a side note: I find sharing a communal kitchen very awkward...crappy law students.
I can only buy things that are microwavable, however, these days, most everything is microwaveable. I'm trying to be far more healthy.
I bought things like V8 fruit juice, oatmeal, yogurt. Some vitamin water, which I'm told is quite good.
It was a successful trip to Wal-Mart I must say. I've started to collect blogs that offer me alternative healthy options.
After about a weekend and a half of only going to home and school (due to pneumonia, boo.) I got myself some Starbucks. A vanilla spice latte, and one of my favorite treats, an oatmeal fudge bar!
And...
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS.
That is all for now.
